Welcome, all  virtuous taxpayers!! Here is your reward!!!! Bank harassment through incompetence....

So the bank called today, and left two urgent messages, call right away, hurry up, or else, , etc, implied threat and so on. Same chick. There may be an unauthorized transfer from your account. Really???? Banks don't usually call me, I call them. So I called the number and lo and behold, it was BUSY!!!! So then (and I WAS busy) I had to look up the main number. They connected me to the message leaver, and I told her I received two urgent messages and her number was busy. Well it had to do with two transfers which I had made to my retirement account, like a good citizen, having completed my taxes and wanting to be able to retire by the time I am 80.

She skipped the problem that her line was busy, except to tell me that ten other tellers used that line (and no voicemail, can you believe it) and told me that I had never made a transfer like that before using the bank, and they had to check. While I appreciate that they were checking, here she left me a phone line that not only had no voice mail, but was busy, and I was COMMANDED to return the call. Further, I HAD made a transfer like that, just last year. I got a little irritable, and told her I had made the transfers and that I had indeed transferred with this method last year, and she got a little miffed. So now I get run all over creation by my bank. I suppose the truth is they didn't like seeing that money disappear from a checking account.

What is is with incompetence?? Why do banks hire women with baby girl voices? Who get miffed?????
